​Thanks for a great stay.  We had a wonderful visit.  I LOVED the bird watching in Le Marquenterre and seal watching in the bay!  Being able to sit and sip a beer at the bottom of the garden each day make it just perfect.

​A good place to travel out from, for discovering the Picardy region.  We have enjoyed the canoeing at the Somme river, the tidewater at Le Crotoy, the Bastille Day antique market in Montreuil-sur-Mer, and Amiens, with its cathedral, cafés, Les Hortillonnages, restaurants, and shops.

My wife, adult son Kyle and I arrived after a 27 hour journey from Canada to very welcoming host, Celine and Craig.

We came to the Amiens area to conduct WWI battlefield tours of the area, specifically, Canadian sites.  This proved to be the perfect spot to do that from.

We very much enjoyed the modern conveniences to cook meals and to relax after a long day of adventuring in the local area.  The home and the location are perfect as are the hosts.

Although it was a short stay, as this place is from heaven, we have left fully rested and recovered after exhausting working days.  There are not enough words to tell Celine’s and Craig’s hospitality.  We were also very lucky to see a “croissant fairy” and her elder sister, both with lovely smiles.  The weather was amazing, I (Zeynep) have learnt cycling her at the age of 34:). Two short days have been filled by sunshine, nice breeze in the evenings, clear sky with stars, smell of the wood and barbecue!

This was our second visit to the guest house and the area.  We came in May and although the weather wasn’t kind to us we had a fantastic time and decided to come back.  The second time around was wonderful.  As before, the accommodation and Craig and Celine were amazing and this time the weather was perfect.
